About Janette Radcliffe

Janette Radcliffe is a pseudonym  for  New York Times best selling author

Janet Louise Roberts. It is one of multiple pen names used by Roberts.

Born  January 20, 1925 in New Britain Connecticut, the daughter of a missionary

in a conservative church, her novels were shocking  in their sensuality.  Though

quite tame by today's standards, pen names were used to avoid embarrassment

to her family.

She wrote contemporary, historical, Gothic romances as well as occult horror romances.
